Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR)
Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR) provides municipalities with a new, low cost alternative to traditional resurfacing of distressed road surfaces. Lavis Contracting’s award-winning, custom-designed CIR recycling plant combines all aspects of Cold In-Place Recycling – crushing, screening and mixing of aggregates in a single working unit. This unit has the capability of performing the CIR process with an “emulsified” or “foamed” rejuvenating additive.
The Lavis CIR train is capable of achieving 350 tonnes of production an hour and up to three lane kilometres of quality finished road surface a day at a typical depth of 100mm. With capacity of over 150 lane kilometres of production per year, Lavis stakes its claim as an industry leader in CIR technology.
